Swimsuit and Date Auction
The International Association of Business Professionals will
be hosting an exclusive charity swimsuit & date auction at
the Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse Saturday, May 21st, 2011. The
auction benefits the American Diabetic Association in their
fight to find a cure for diabetes.

"JFK's Magnificent Journey" Art Show
An exhibition of some 200 paintings by Washington, D.C.,
artist Alen J. Salerian, M.D., will formally open a three-month Dallas
engagement on Saturday March 19, at 1701 North Market St., Suite 220, in the
Dallas West End. (three blocks from Dealey Plaza) The exhibition will be open
Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 7 p.m and run till June 15th 2011. The work
celebrates President John F. Kennedy's legacy and vision for mankind. For

Special Exhibit Gallery Opening
The Dallas Holocaust Museum announces the opening of a new
special exhibit gallery with a photographic exhibit, "In the
Aftermath of Auschwitz-Birkenau: From Hatred to Hope." The
exhibit features the work of two photographers whose images
capture different aspects of Auschwitz-Birkenau, both
literal and spiritual. The gallery, which is adjacent to the
Museum's permanent exhibit, will be open during regular
Museum hours beginning Feb. 18. The exhibit will run through
March 20. The special exhibit is included in the admission
price of the permanent exhibit.

A third new restaurant opens in the West End. Éclair Texas
Cafe has moved into the old Quiznos on Commerce Street.

Two New Restaurants
The
Dallas West End welcomes two new restaurants which have
recently opened in our District. Dante's New York Style Italian
Eatery at 208 N. Market St., and ZENNA, a Thai & Japanese

DART Green Line Now
Running
December 6th ~ The DART Green Line
from North Dallas is open for business.
Finally Carrollton, Farmers Branch and others are linked
to the West End Station.
